This webserver is hosted on a Lenovo ThinkCentre m710q mini PC with a Core i5 6500T and 16GB RAM. This is a massive upgrade from the old 2010 Core 2 Duo Mac Mini that I used to use before April 2025. The main reason for this upgrade was the Minecraft server I hosted at the time, both because of performance and stability. The old Mac Mini was having constant JVM crashes that I could only attribute to failing memory.
This current site design came to be at the start of August 2026. Previously, I designed the site to look vaguely like Windows 98, with the background being the Windows wallpaper colour (#008080) and the navbar being a Windows taskbar. I also used the Microsoft Sans Serif font. However over time I got bored of this design, and wanted to do something a little more original.
This current design makes use of the Pixel Code font (https://github.com/qwerasd205/PixelCode), mostly just because it's free (as in freedom) and looks nice.
I don't really have any set plans for content to host on my site, and I never really have. Some day I'll probably have more worth sharing.
I'm not a web developer or anything, I just like making my site look nice. Pretty much everything here was written and iterated on by myself, using resources like w3schools to learn.
